Dishwasher Cleaning Tips
During Spring, a large number of you will be undertaking some type of spring cleaning in and around your home. Regardless of whether it's vacuuming under your refrigerator or deep cleaning the stove, everything should be given attention at sometime (preferable sooner rather over later however, right?).
At some point, we want to help you with unnecessary appliance cleaning, so we're beginning with your dishwasher. To guarantee you utilize your dishwasher to its maximum capacity, ensure you take after the tips underneath (they truly will lighten extend periods of time of cleaning over the long haul). Simply recall, the better you deal with your machine now, the better it will deal with you later!
Loading of your dishwasher:
Pre-rinse your dishes every time. Your dishwasher is for cleaning, and you can avoid unnecessary service calls by just simply pre-rensing.
Tupperware should be in a secure place. If it is not secure, it may fall on your heating element and melt causing a huge mess and possible other alarming issues that we can easily avoid by following the previous steps.
Try not to stack your dishes or other items in your dishwasher. Water will not be able to reach all of your dishes to clean them. Make sure each item in your dishwasher is free and clear of others for maximum cleaning.
Do not over load your Bottom Rack as this will not allow the soap dispenser to open and will be able to give a proper cleaning to your dishes.
Placing you forks and spoons Half and half (up and down) will allow for better cleaning.
Utensils with long, thin handles may slip through the rack and prevent the spray arm from spinning. These should lie flat on the top rack.
Mugs and Glasses should be face down. Otherwise, they will fill up with water and not be able to get as cleaned.
And remember, should your dishwasher still fail to meet your expectations after following the above tips, you can always contact Scott and Sons Appliance Repair for any repair need!
